For all of your courses you will have tutorials. Although they may be organised slightly differently for various courses, the basis for them are the same. Tutorial groups are small groups led by a lecturer or PG-student to give you the chance to discuss the ideas introduced in the past few lectures for that course, with the main focus of them being on student participation. For some courses you will be assigned a tutorial group, and for some you have to enroll yourself. If you are asked to enroll yourself then it is your responsibility to ensure the tutorial group you choose does not clash with your schedule.
